Some of the members of the Double Reed Tales Berlin dulcian consort have known each other since their studies at the HfK Bremen, the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, and the UdK Berlin. For over 10 years, they have repeatedly performed together in various constellations as specialists in historical woodwind instruments in leading European ensembles. This led to the plan to found a 5-part dulcian consort to perform the rarely played repertoire for this instrumentation together.
