SUMMARY:CULINARY BREAK: Frische teutsche Liedlein – Pop Hits of the 1550s
LOCATION:Villa Elisabeth (Foyer)
DESCRIPTION:19:30 — KULINARISCHE PAUSE: Zweigulden\n\nToday we listen to early music in concert halls. During the Renaissance\, it was the soundtrack of everyday life: it accompanied banquets and celebrations\, rang out in taverns and on the streets\, and often simply created a festive atmosphere. The ensemble Zweigulden brings this world of sound back to life with flute and drum – featuring newly interpreted "pop hits" from the famous song collections of Georg Forster and Georg Rhau\, the musical bestsellers of the period around 1550.
